We almost found a compromise last year, a privately owned yacht that met my husband’s requirements and was available to charter. If we could have agreed terms and conditions it would have meant a beautiful yacht we could charter with no large initial outlay or ongoing costs. My husband is very realistic about this dream; the priority is to buy our family home and then he can start saving for a yacht.

I do not think that letting go of this would make him that happy. In terms of the money, I think that you really need to weigh things out. For me I would really think that first things first before getting that yacht. Good luck in this dream of yours. Hope you can build up the money for you family to enjoy.
